Ayala Corp. Promotes Four Next-Generation Leaders for Strategic Growth
Ayala Corporation (AC), the country’s oldest conglomerate, announced on Monday the promotion of four next-generation leaders to key positions, reinforcing its focus on long-term strategic growth.
In a statement, AC introduced Mariana Beatriz Zobel de Ayala and Mark Robert Uy as managing directors, alongside Jaime Alfonso Zobel de Ayala and Jaime Urquijo as executive directors.
Key Leadership Roles
- Mariana Beatriz Zobel de Ayala will spearhead the transformation of Ayala Land Inc.’s (ALI) leasing business, covering retail, hospitality, and office sectors, with a focus on reinventing flagship and core malls.
- Mark Robert Uy will oversee the strategic realignment of Ayala’s business portfolio, ensuring it remains diversified while concentrating efforts on long-term sustainability and expansion.
- Jaime Alfonso Zobel de Ayala will play a leadership role in corporate governance and drive the growth of Ayala’s New Energy Vehicle (NEV) platform, ACMobility.
- Jaime Urquijo will lead internal transformation within AC, enhancing synergy between the holding company and its subsidiaries.
AC President and CEO Cezar Consing expressed confidence in the new appointees, stating, “Each of our senior promotees represents Ayala at its best—purposeful, forward-looking, professional, and engaged. They will help shape an even better Ayala as we move toward completing two centuries of building businesses that enable people to thrive.”
